UniDog is a nonprofit in Thailand whose mission is "to bring about the day when all stray dogs and cats can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction."
Thailand is ground zero for the despicable dog meat trade (CNN link — caution: disturbing image at link).
The headline on these ads, featuring dogs with food bowls as cones, reads:
"I'M BEGGING FOR LIFE, NOT FOOD."
These ads are translated from Thai for publicity purposes, so the language is a bit off.
The line would be better if it simply read:
"I'M BEGGING FOR MY LIFE."
The Copy reads:
"25 million dogs are killed for food each year. Help save them from the dog meat trade."
That number is hard to comprehend.
