Though there is no copy, the ads were tagged "iconic refreshment" when sent to me via email from BBDO, Pepsi's agency of record.
But, what's with the microscopic blood vessel layouts?
Was your art director shooting up at the time?
I guess the creatives were looking through images (probably stock) searching for the intersection of red, white, and blue to organically make the Pepsi logo.
Pepsi does end up in your veins, so it makes sense? Kinda?
